On Thursday, January 07, the Congress of the United States will revisit the ban on funding for stem-cell research when House Resolution 3 (H.R.3) comes to the floor for debate. As the president has vetoed the legislation in the past, if the ban on funding is to be lifted, it will need to be passed by a veto-proof majority.
