The President Says "Heck of a Job, Fredo"

President George Bush has started his week by, once again, demonstrating that he lives in an alternative universe disconnected from our reality.

"The Attorney General went up and gave a very candid assessment, and answered every question he could possibly answer, honestly answer, in a way that increased my confidence in his ability to do the job."
If nothing else the President is loyal to a fault. Of course, in this case his loyalty is truly a fault because it leaves a badly damaged Alberto Gonzales, and a gang of clearly incompetent subordinates, in charge of the Justice Department. Who is going to ever trust the integrity and competence of the DoJ as long as they remain? Heck of an endorsement, George.
