Rudy, John and Mitt Attack Barack and Hillary

As reported earlier this morning John McCain and Mitt Romney attacked Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for voting NO on the war funding supplemental without time lines. Obama responded immediately. His press release said in part.

And if there ever was a reflection of that it's the fact that Senator McCain required a flack jacket, ten armored Humvees, two Apache attack helicopters, and 100 soldiers with rifles by his side to stroll through a market in Baghdad just a few weeks ago.
Apparently McCain took offense to Obama's response. He hit back with his own press release which after you brush away all the standard press release chest thumping says "Senator Obama, it's a 'flak' jacket, not a 'flack' jacket." Na,na,na,na. Or something like that. Later one of McCain's aides added to the dust up telling the Politico, "Obama wouldn't know the difference between an RPG and a bong."

Not to be out done Rudy Giuliani (pictured on the right) joined the testosterone fueled fray charging that the Clinton and Obama "moved from being not just anti-war, but to being anti-troops,"

It is Memorial Weekend. I have a hunch the Republicans just have to prove they are

Macho Men.

Trying to restore some measure of dignity to the mess a spokesman for Obama told the Politico , "America doesn’t need juvenile name-calling from Washington, we need a commitment to end this war and bring our brave troops home."

As for Hillary, don't forget that it takes a lot of people to make a village.
