Another Loyal Bushie Lawyer Is Ethically Challenged

Based on all that we have learned in the past months the list of ethically challenged lawyers serving in the Bush Administration is long and distinguished.

It just got longer. Brad Miller Chairman and F. James Sensenbrenner, Jr. Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight have just written Alberto Gonzales asking for a criminal investigation to determine whether NASA general counsel Michael Wholley obstructed justice when he destroyed dvd recordings of an April 10 meeting between between NASA Administrator Michael Griffin and staff members in NASA's inspector general office. According to OCALA.COM

Griffin had called for the meeting after a scathing report said NASA Inspector General Robert Cobb appeared to be too friendly with the space agency bosses and created an abusive work environment for his employees.
In late May Wholley admitted destroying the dvds of the meeting.

It's mean of the Congressmen to refer NASA's poor General Counsel to the Department of Justice just because he destroyed evidence he knew the Congressmen wanted to see. After all in his appearance before Congress he said he was sorry. Isn't that good enough?

I am getting more than a little tired of loyal Bushie lawyers ignoring their sworn ethical responsibilities just to advance some political agenda. This time the conduct is so outrageous that even Republican members of the relevant committee are pissed.
