I was an early Linux adopter. I used it for years. Finally, when I just couldn't get Ubuntu to talk to my old Canon printer I gave up and installed Windows. Letting go was traumatic. I have to admit that Windows has been more like a series of one night stands than a real relationship. I am yearning for the old passion and I have read there is a new version of Ubuntu. If I go missing for a day, you will know what I am doing--courting a penguin.
