Disney Pipe Bomb

A small pipe bomb exploded in a dumpster at Downtown Disney, an entertainment complex operated by Walt Disney World in Orlando. It took only a few paragraphs for law enforcement to link it to the UK event:

Beary said security at Downtown Disney has been increased not just because of the suspicious incident, but also because of the recent terrorist activity overseas.

"Once we saw things unfolding in the U.K. and Glasgow, and the fact that it's July 4th, we increased security," said Beary.

Thankfully, he explained that the incident was not really related:
He added that "this is not connected to any sophisticated [terrorist] plot, either domestically or internationally."

It's not until you get to the end of the story that the most probably reason for the incident is explained:
Walt Disney World ejected four of Florida State University's top football prospects - including the son of a Disney manager and the son of a Philadelphia civil-rights lawyer - from Downtown Disney under its anti-gang, no-loitering policy and banned them from entering the theme parks for life.

I don't want to minimize any event like this, but a reasonable person would conclude this is an escalation of the security crackdown on teens rather than a terrorist act. Still, the Sheriff's comments will make good sound bites.

How long before the MSM picks this up, takes the comments out of context and the speculation begins? If you see it, document it in the comments.
