Now we know that God likes Ron Paul better than John McCain. Josh Marshall points us to this miraculous tidbit:
Republican Ron Paul tells ABC News that he has an impressive $2.4 million in cash on hand after raising an equal amount during the second quarter, putting him ahead of one-time Republican frontrunner John McCain, who reported this week he has only $2 million in the bank.I guess St. John is no longer the annointed one - in many ways. His fortunes in Florida have also changed as he cuts back his staff and discourages his supporters.
Allison DeFoor, a member of McCain's advisory committee in Florida and a former vice chairman of the state GOP, said: "Obviously, this is not good news. Those of us in Florida have been advocating more boots on the ground, not less.''
What has John McCain done to offend God so badly that even the pennies are going to someone else? Don't know but good riddance.
