TPM has posted the best comment from Sunday's Republican Debate. Notice two things. First, notice Mitt Romney in the background meekly repeating "have you forgotten 9/11." Second, listen to the applause from the crowd. The first should disqualify Romney from any elected position. Any candidate still willing to connect 9/11 and the War in Iraq is either too dishonest or too stupid to even be a presidential candidate. That is a very low bar. The second indicates why "None of the Above" is the Republican front runner. Except for Paul all the Republican candidates support the President's optional war.
I am surprised ABC didn't cut Paul off and jump to Mitt Romney. An anti-Iraq war candidate without Paul's Libertarian baggage could probably win the nomination.
