Barack Obama Gives A Stem Turning Speech In Des Moines

On Saturday night 9000 Democrats attended the Jefferson Jackson Dinner in Des Moines, Iowa. All the major Democratic candidates attended. The candidates were all given an opportunity to sell themselves. According to the Des Moines Register's David Yepsen

Five of them gave really good speeches.

Barack Obama’s was excellent.

It was one of the best of his campaign. The passion he showed should help him close the gap on Hillary Clinton by tipping some undecided caucus-goers his way. His oratory was moving and he successfully contrasted himself with the others - especially Clinton - without being snide or nasty about it.
I thought you might want to see what Yepsen is talking about. As his speech demonstrates Barack Obama is probably the premier American orator of his age.

Links to speeches from four other candidates after the break. They are all good, especially John Edwards. You might want to watch them all.
