lolpresidentialcandidates: I can haz deebayt footage?
FOX News: No, not yours!
This week's Wurlitzer is awarded to the fair-n-balanced minds at FOX News, but not for the reason you might expect. No, this week, FOX News is honored for being so very full of delicious wingnutty goodness, that it has managed to forge a (temporary) alliance between the likes of RedState and MoveOn.
Though I fully realize that it is now November, I don't think anyone expected the temperature in Hell to fall so precipitously.
Great work, FOX. Perhaps, by the end of next week, you can convince all Republicans in the House and Senate to override Bush's threatened second veto of expansion of S-CHIP coverage. For once, you'd actually be doing something positive for America. In what must surely be a sign of the apocalypse, right-wing weblog Redstate.com has joined forces with Moveon.org to demand that Fox News cease and desist from sending cease-and-desist letters to presidential candidates who use the network's debate footage in their ads and on their web sites. Both groups sent out a joint press release today, containing statements from each of their representatives.
After noting that the Dems have already decided to boycott Fox News on partisan grounds, RedState's Erick Erickson added: "It would be a shame if the Republicans now shut out FOX altogether from the debate process. Every other news organization has liberated their debate footage, and FOX should either be no different or no longer have the privilege of airing debates."
Enjoy your award!
