Campaign Video of the Day -- December 15, 2007

Today's Campaign Video is called Proud (New Hampshire.) In it Hillary Clinton introduces us to the family side of her life. It is pretty routine stuff, the other candidates introduced us to their families months ago. That Hillary is doing it now means she has discovered that people aren't looking for a driven policy wonk to be their President. They are looking for somebody who has enjoyed similar normal life experiences. Let's face it Hillary's life with Bill just isn't a normal life experience. Her mom and daughter, on the other hand, seem to be pretty normal people. Just like your mom and daughter. The ad is intended to make Hillary human. Technically it is very, very well done. Tactically it might be too little too late.

Today, like me with this late post, Hillary is playing catchup.
