Campaign Video of the Day -- December 29, 2007

By all accounts the Democratic race in Iowa is a three way tie. This morning John Edwards and Barack Obama are each at 29% of the vote and Hillary has 28%.

All three understand the stress facing the middle class. Hillary says she will politely ask her friends and supporters in the beltway elite to help save America and she is sure they will pitch in. Barack says we all need to sit down and talk. Edwards says

"Nobody who takes their money and defends the broken system is going to bring change. And unfortunately, nobody who thinks we can just sit down and talk them into compromise is going to bring change either. Why on Earth would we expect the corporate powers and their lobbyists -- who make billions by selling out the middle class -- to just give up their power because we ask them nicely?"
Today's Campaign Video is called "Born For." It's from John Edwards campaign.

If you encounter a video in need of play please email the link to proctoring.congress@gmail.com subject Campaign Video of the Day.

Don't hesitate to comment if you disagree with my characterization of Democratic campaign in the final days before the Iowa Caucus. I want to hear from you.
