If You Knew Jeremiah Like I Knew Jeremiah...

I've tried to prepare a longer post on my handful of experiences with Dr. Jeremiah Wright. But the last two weeks have been enormously busy for me. And yesterday Barack Obama addressed the issues far better than I would have.

Yesterday I found my notes from a lightly attended workshop where I heard Wright speak in January. I remember thinking at the time "I can't believe that this guy hasn't caused trouble for Obama."

There was one especially appropriate note for this past week: "If I criticize you for the company you keep, I don't have to engage you or your arguments or your positive traits."

Huh.
