Monica Goodling--A Hard Worker, Who Made Some Mighty Fine Brownies

T.R. Goldman and Emma Schwartz have published a very good summary of Monica Goodling's remarkable career as a Loyal Bushie. Seems that in a nutshell Monica was an aid to Barbara Comstock head of opposition research for the RNC during the 2000 election and later the chief spokeswoman for Ashcroft. When Comstock went to work for Ashcroft, she brought Goodling along. Goodling earned a reputation as a very hard worker and a perfectionist as a fact checker. It didn't hurt that Ashcroft loved her brownies. The people who encountered her knew her as a player. She was known as a buzz saw. For what it is worth she is probably the very best example of a Loyal Bushie. She is the kind of person who ran for class president, organized the school yearbook, and ran the school concession stand. She is exactly the kind of person who might get out in front of her job by trying too hard to please.
