We're talking about Joe Lieberman, of course. Brave New Films has launched a “Lieberman Must Go” petition drive. The fine folks at BNF say Joe Lieberman has overtly supported and defended President Bush and John McCain’s key policies. He therefore no longer deserves a chairmanship or leadership role in the Senate Democratic Caucus.
Lieberman is NOT a Democrat. He did NOT win the Democrat nomination for his re-election bid in 2006 and had to run as an independent. Why the Senate leadership ever allowed him to remain part of the Senate Democratic Caucus is beyond me.
Brave New Films has an excellent video up. Go watch it and sign the petition. Let's make room for a TRUE Democrat.

JEFFERSON CITY — Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder's chief of staff Eric Wayne Feltner has been charged with furnishing pornographic materials to a minor, a class C misdemeanor.I'm sure Feltner will be resigning soon, to spend more time with his family.
On May 21, Cole County prosecutors filed the two charges against Feltner — for attempting and furnishing —for incidents that took place during an online sting operation on May 25, 2007 and July 6, 2007.
"I probably shouldn't comment too much on the investigation," said Anji Gandhi, assistant prosecuting attorney for Cole County.
Feltner, of Columbia, became Kinder's top aide in 2005 after serving as 9th District congressional director for U.S. Rep. Kenny Hulshof.
Police allege Feltner contacted an undercover police officer on Yahoo! Instant Messenger believing he was talking to a 13-year-old girl, according to a probable cause statement.
Using the screen name "thebestinmo," Feltner engaged in sexually explicit conversations, according to the statement, signed by Jefferson City police Officer Chad Stieferman.
According to his secretary, Feltner was in a meeting this morning in his Capitol office and not immediately available for comment.
A message left with Kinder's spokesman was not immediately returned.

President Bush, today in Canada:
There's all kinds of speculation about the size of the package, this, that and the other.

Abu G finds himself further and further separated from Republicans and more and more refuse to defend him. We proudly present the first Watching Those We Chose production, "Gonzo's Lament."
