Because our children and my mother-in-law had to satisfy the wishes of their other relatives, we didn't celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday. Instead our family is gathering at my house in a few hours for a wonderful meal and an afternoon and evening of joyous revelry. In recognition of our delayed holiday today's campaign video is John Edwards-Thanksgiving TV Ad.
We may bitch and moan about our lives but we all have a lot to be thankful about. At least that is what I thought right up to a few minutes ago when I discovered that by merely discovering dark matter scientists may have shortened the universe's life. I don't understand it either, but I guess a protest movement is soon to be born.

Accountability. We have to be accountable, and we think our politicians should be too. We do not want a replay of the craven perfidy of the last 12 years that nearly sunk the ship of state.
