The Wurlitzer Prize for Wingnuttery for the week ending November 24, 2007

This week, there is no competition. It has to be Lucretia Borgia Gloria Borger, for her glib dismissal of the act of treason committed when CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson was outed publicly in an act of political revenge with a "nobody cares anymore."

The principals of this blog certainly care, and I would thank you not to presume to speak for me in the future, thanks just the same. In case our readers may have forgotten, or didn't know, we are the ones who waded into the case and got the pre-sentencing letters in support of the feckless, treasonous, pathetic shell-of-a-man Libby released to the public.

Then...in the same breath...she topped herself! She actually - with a straight face - said that we should wait for aWol's memoirs to learn the truth.

Gloria, because this sort of wingnutty apologia has become de rigueur we here at WTWC came up with this award to bestow upon the shills and hacks and useful idiots who pathetically bow and scrape to curry favor for the most dishonest and corrupt administration in the history of the republic. This week, you personify why this award came to be and precisely what is wrong with that wholly-owned subsidiary of the modern 'Publican Party, the M$M.
